Zen and the Art of Violin Practicing
Stage anxiety, practicing, and choosing a teacher

Course
Zen and the Art of Violin Practicing is a thought-provoking book, written for the benefit of students, that deals with issues not usually discussed in the violin lesson — stage anxiety, how to choose a teacher and an institute, how to practice, and more.
The word “Zen” represents “understanding” — this book does not discuss classical Zen teaching, but instead brings a practical as well as philosophical approach to the art of violin playing. First published in 2003, it has since been read by violin students, professional players, and teachers around the world.
It was Eyal's first professional book — since then he's also written two science-fiction novels.
